


‘Be There’
Itunes Campaign: Silent Gigs.
Bringing interaction to downloading music the ‘Be There’ Campaign gives Itunes customers a virtual experience.
When browsing and listening to tracks before buying the consumer can select the ‘Be there’ application. With the use of headphones this application allows them to experience being in a virtual crowd at a virtual gig. This is created by crowd noises moving around the left and right earpiece placing them in the centre of the action whilst listening to their chosen track.
To launch the ‘Be There’ Itunes application Press adverts promoting the first ‘Be There’ silent gig will appear before the event.
The event will feature Bluetooth live streaming of the Artic Monkeys to the fans at the silent gig at Trafalgar Square at 12.30, 5.09.09. The effect to which will be the atmosphere of a real live gig with the novelty of people dancing in silence with their headphones in listening to the live stream altogether.
At the end of the silent gig the fans will be directed to try out the new application.
